One of the things that I think we have forgotten with living globally is that not everyone gets to experience beauty beyond our borders. So often when Mike sends me pics of the places he drives past on a business trip, I just glance at them and say ‘ooo, that’s nice’, and never really give it another thought! So, when he sent me these of his visit to just outside Calgary this week, I stopped to note the Rockies, and how beautiful they are, reaching up toward the sky from the grassy plains, snowcapped and imposing. It just reminded me to be grateful for the privilege of experiencing things much greater than ourselves, and to truly live in the moment.
