Mom still has a huge, beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The whole family comes together after midnight mass and has the traditional plum cake and wine. We spend the night at mom’s home, and in the morning we wake up and open the presents. In the afternoon, we sit down to have a traditional Christmas lunch. Malaika Arora Khan
I wasn’t going to put up the tree this year because we will not be celebrating Christmas here, but the girls thought that was a terrible idea, so I put up the tree and the Christmas decorations, and it does feel good! For the first time in many years we are going to be spend Christmas with family, which is SO exciting, going to midnight mass together, eating Christmas lunch with pud and custard together, opening presents, and hopefully a swim in the ocean on Christmas morning. I am so grateful that we can get to do this, and especially that we can do this WITH family!
