Our adventure today entailed a quick hop across the border (river) to Canada to visit the southern most tip of this enormous country at Point Pelee! Yes, that is actually sand beneath the ice that Mike is standing on! And yes, those are the frozen waves of Lake Erie in the background. Another tick off the bucket list…one more country visited! Canada did not disappoint, with extreme weather, perfect roads, and British goods in the store providing us with a taste of home, real chocolate and pickled onions. It’s the small things that count!!
