Along this wild untrodden coast,
Heap’d by the gelid’ hand of frost;
Thro’ this unbounded waste of seas,
Where never sigh’d the vernal breeze;
Mine was the choice, in this terrific form,
To brave the icy surge, to shiver in the storm.
— Anne Bannerman (Poems by Anne Bannerman)
One thing that is nice about taking a photograph daily is the documentation of seasons and change. Winter has been here for a while, but the temperatures are consistently dropping, so the ice is beginning to form around the edges of the water where the flow is less. A dull day, but still a beautiful outlook. Getting ready to shiver in the storm!
