I meal prep… and make sure to have three solid, high-protein and low-carb meals a day with a few snacks in between. But I try not to be too hard on myself.

I am trying hard to get back on track with my health and fitness. Somehow we managed some sort of maintenance with Christmas in South Africa, and I even managed to keep training for our half-marathon in January. But, then after that I got sick, and things fell apart. I was eating atrociously, with no motivation to get back to the gym. The weather was too horrible to run outside so I was begrudgingly running on the treadmill. Basically, I wasn’t living by what I believe in, so after Mike made a comment one day about me really having to get out because I wasn’t being very nice, I decided I had better do something about it! SO, I did….I looked for motivation and found it! So far I am back to living…yay! And trying to get organized with some meal prep on the weekends to make our lives a little easier. Nothing yummier than roasted brussel sprouts! Delicious AND nutritious!!!
