“What I love most about Mother’s Day is that I am acknowledged and honored for being a mother.” Liya Kebede
Part of my Mother’s Day celebrations has been the privilege of spending the last couple of days with Girlchild1 in Philly, watching her and her team race at Dad Vail. I just LOVE my gorgeous girls, and while logistics currently makes it difficult to be with both at the same time, they are always in my heart! Nothing more special than waking up to special cards from them both. Grateful that God chose me to be their mother! Also grateful to my mother…although she is not here, her advice goes before me…always! And for my MIL, always supportive, accepting, kind, and caring! We couldn’t have asked for better examples of gentle, graceful, unwavering leadership in our matriarchs.
