Since the girls were little I told them that happiness, as well as grumpiness, was a choice, and they should choose to be happy! It has been a hard lesson to live, because I have not always been happy….especially with them both being away from home. Some days have definitely been harder than others, but I am VERY happy as one of my chickens is home for a few days before the start of the year….and I am not the only one…her cat is ecstatic too!! Girlchild2 is probably going to be mad that I have posted this photo…since I woke her up at 2 am her time…and was trying to explain things to her before I left for work, not sure she actually heard a word I said! The cat looks equally unimpressed with me disturbing their snuggling!
