We decided that it would be cool to really start living, and by doing that decided to live on an island, because…well, just because how many people get to say they live on a little island in the Detroit River? Island living does require a healthy dose of patience, because in the summer we need to allow for boat traffic…and the opening of the swing bridge to allow boats…even little ones to pass through. Nevertheless, we are happy to be living here, and enjoying every opportunity we have…living and appreciating each day and whatever it brings!
