Road trips are always fun…..and this one produced stunning views from Mount Laguna! Always amazed to think about the history of the area, and how the native people found ways not only to survive, but adapt and really live in this environment, and I make up elaborate story in my mind about their lives. They lived a migratory lifestyle, following the water and escaping from the heat between the coast and the desert. I am grateful to be able to experience the tremendous diversity of natural beauty in this country, and be moved by its enormity and splendor.
