“I’ve learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.” ― Maya Angelou
For a while now, actually a good 10 years, I have played with the idea of becoming a professional organizer. Some time ago, I helped my parents organize and sort their home when they just couldn’t face it, and realized how much I loved it. I loved being able to help them, and the sense of freedom and new lease of life it gave them. They had been weighed down emotionally with all the things around them, and just didn’t know where to start in organizing it. Since then, I have done it several times, for my children, and ourselves with each move we have made, and for friends along the way. Each time I have done it for someone, I have wondered why I don’t make a career of it, so decided to do a real course and get a real qualification. I signed up a little while ago, but now is the perfect time to hunker down and get it done, as well as get as many ideas as I can along the way. Excited and grateful for wherever this new adventure will lead me. I have committed to this with an open heart, and know it is the right decision.
