After another week of recovering in bed (yup, pretty much flat on my back for two weeks), I was desperate for new views…so we went on a little drive up to Lake Huron. Can check another Great Lake off my bucket list…three down (Michigan, Erie, Huron), and two to go (Superior, Ontario)! It did not disappoint, and could also check another item off my bucket list….lighthouses. The great vastness of the lakes is so difficult to comprehend, but can be likened to the sea…with water as far as you can see, or in this case, great chunks of ice, and a snow-covered beach, making for a moonscape-type setting that was truly awe-inspiring!
