Not quite a six-hour walk, but a long one! Since today was the first sunny and relatively warm day we have had in a while on a weekend, we took full opportunity of it and decided to explore our surrounds on the island, and even ventured to the frozen canal! There is beauty in the starkness of the blue sky, barren trees, and iced water. Riley was totally in his element with all the new pathways, sights and sounds, and left us all invigorated. Every time we do this sort of thing it confirms that we have chosen the right place to live for our lifestyle!
