For the past few days, basically since I returned from San Diego, I have been flat on my back with a raging temperature…not even able to read…tragic, I know! I somehow managed to run my half marathon with a kidney infection that has had be sicker than I have ever been before. But, after a visit to the doctor, I am on the right meds to get me well again, and I have been well looked after by my best friend, catering to my every need and making sure I stayed in bed, and also by the furbuddies, who have all been keeping a watchful eye on me while keeping me cosy! This is probably the best time to be languishing in bed, since we seem to have hit rock bottom with temperatures of negative degrees Fahrenheit.
