Having been in bed and immersed in work for the last week, we ventured out for a little change of scenery today, which gave us some new views. In the past few years, Detroit has been working very hard for a living, and the resulting view from Belle Isle State Park is not bad! The river is icing over, and the clouds look painted. You can just see the Ambassador Bridge in the distance with Windsor in Canada on the left and Detroit on the right. There could still be much worse places to live in the world!
