Sometimes you just have to follow the path to explore new places. We have run past this path on the road about 10 times and never even noticed it was there, but today we noticed and decided to see where it lead….it was a delightful little wildlife refuge with a lovely bird lookout across the Detroit River. It is nestled in between two houses, and unless you know it is there, it is hard to spot. I am pleased we took a chance today, it was a fun little sidetrack, and a change from the normal path!
