“Never believe that true prayer consists in mere babbling, reciting so many psalms and vigils, saying your beads while you allow your thoughts to roam.” – Johannes Tauler

I firmly believe that you are where and when you are meant to be. When we booked this trip out, we gave little consideration to the fact that I was arriving right in the middle of Holy Week…but grateful to experience the overwhelming beauty and sadness of the last supper and the vigil. Instead of just babbling incoherent and half-asleep prayers, this made me truly reflect on what a poor a Christian I actually am, and what I need to make this better.
