“If you go back to your home town or you’re reunited with school friends, its always slightly bittersweet because as much as there’s nice things in terms of seeing them again, the town has changed without you, and you’re no longer a part of it.” – Edgar Wright
This is a bittersweet reunion, because while comforting in going back to the place where I spent so much of my life, nothing is the same! But, that being said, I am grateful to family who drop everything to help get me where I need to be. Grateful to be able to spend this precious time together…not doing anything, but basking in each other’s company. Grateful that calm can be restored to an anxious mind through music and routine. Grateful for being brought up with a heart to see the good in everyone and every situation.
