Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Melody Beattie
Being grateful every day is helping me turn this house into a home…it is taking a while, but it is really starting to feel like home at last. It helps me to get me out of bed on the mornings that I don’t feel like doing anything, it helps to get me out of the door. When I am grateful for what I have, things start falling into place. It is easier not to get so frustrated with things that are out of your control, and deal with things that you can control. The key to it all is faith – and putting your faith into action. Riley is appreciative, as he gets to go for a run…but is always happy to be back home again!
