Girlchildtwo requires a new passport, so we made the obligatory trip to our consulate in Chicago, which was totally worth every minute! It was good to spend time in the car cross-state from Michigan, via Indiana to Illinois, reconnecting after a couple of college quarters, and was such fun exploring a little of this beautiful city. I have decided that this tops my cities visited in the US, and I will definitely be back for more. I was a little underdressed, as I packed for the weather back home, and the wind was icy cold tunneling between the buildings. Anyhoo…it was fun, especially taking pics in The Bean! I could easily root myself here! Grateful for the experience!
