As I have come to realize, not necessary only comfort food, but a comfort in familiar things can go a long way. As can be seen….we have arrived in San Diego….how can you see you may ask? Well, the aloes of course. Not seen these in Michigan at all, and they bring all the comforts of our native land – sunny South Africa. So amazing to see them in full bloom everywhere. Very excited to be in SD to celebrate the coming of age of Girlchild1. CAN NOT for a second can I believe that she is turning 21…have absolutely NO IDEA where the time has gone. I still vividly remember when she was born, as if it was yesterday. Oh well, all I can say is make the most of EACH and EVERY day you have with your precious children for the are all grown up in a flash!
