‘A grateful heart is a beginning of greatness. It is an expression of humility. It is a foundation for the development of such virtues as prayer, faith, courage, contentment, happiness, love, and well-being.’ – James E. Faust

Working in a church has certain advantages and privileges, including a place for prayer. So, on my way through to my office this morning I stopped to light a candle for my dad, mom and brothers. I stopped to take photo to share with my aunt and saw the beautiful shadows cast on the wall. Happy 80th Dad! Sorry that I couldn’t celebrate in person with you, but you are all ever near. I am grateful for being treated as a princess and empowered with the belief that I can do anything I put my mind to. Love and miss you, but pleased you are no longer trapped in your mind, but free and at peace.
