Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence. – Helen Keller
Since the last time I posted was June, it really does feel like we have been in a time warp, with the seconds, minutes, days, weeks all blurring into each other. Several significant things have happened during this time, and we are grateful for each. Not least of which was the graduation of GirlChild1 from UCSD! I have absolutely no idea where the last four years have flown to, but here we are! And on Saturday she wrote her very last final exam of her undergrad career. The last few months have been such a time of anti-climax and insecurity as to what the future holds, with no new jobs readily opening up on the horizon. But one thing I do know is that we are all optimistic about what the future holds, and with the faith that everything will work out just as it is meant to will no doubt lead to success and achievement. We have hope and confidence for an exciting future for GirldChild1 and are so proud of all she has achieved and overcome and fought for, and who she has become in the past four years!
