Go on daddy-daughter dates and father-and-sons’ outings with your children. As a family, go on campouts and picnics, to ball games and recitals, to school programs, and so forth. Having Dad there makes all the difference. Ezra Taft Benson
They never really had daddy-daughter dates, but dad certainly did tons of stuff with the girls and family, and am pleased he still gets the opportunity to have fun together. There have been a couple of years where he has not been cool enough, but at least we seem to have turned the corner, and despite all the nagging, I think they get that their dad just wants the best for them, and knows their potential, and just loves spending time with them doing fun stuff!
