After a hectic couple of days, from Mike driving down, driving back with me, and a full weekend of house-hunting, we celebrated with a meal (accompanied by ginormous Foster’s at Outback…pretending we were Aussie (and pretty much getting away with it). We toasted to an exhausting few days, and also to new fun adventures ahead. This marks the start of a whole new chapter in our lives, and up to now I was really anxious about it. But, after visiting Michigan, I think it is going to be awesome! There is plenty of beauty and charm in everyday life that I had forgotten about. Here’s to the next adventure as emptynesters living to make each day count!
