I don’t really like to make New Year’s resolutions, because I feel I have failed when I don’t see them through. But, this year I decided to set some, and one was to try and be a better person in all circumstances (am not doing very well so far). Working in a church is humbling, and a daily reminder that I do not always (mostly) behave in a way that I should, and that I should aim to let my light shine from within, by truly following the way of Christ. Sometimes it is just so hard, especially when I rely only on myself, and not put my trust in God! But, I am grateful for my daily reminder as I step into work: To shine from within!
