I was looking forward to my nice hot bath in peace to rejuvenate my soul, with Netflix balanced precariously on the edge to catch up with the latest binge-worthy episodes while Expert2 is out of town…but I can’t close the door because Riley tries to scratch it down, and the cats don’t stop yowling. So, I engage in a game of toss….the only problem is that the ball has hit the chandelier a couple of times…and yes, I want a new one…but that is not really a very good way of getting rid of the one we have. It would make an awful mess, and I would never be able to clean up all that glass! So, I stop playing for a while, and Riley very patiently just almost goes to sleep resting against the ball! Just like children, once you have pets your days of privacy and soaking along in tub are over! Joy in the small things!
